about Cúrate

Cúrate literally means ‘cure yourself’ in Spanish. We believe in the curative effects of sharing good food and wine with family and friends. Shared plates create conversation, enhancing memories and unfolding stories.

You can feel our philosophy at work the moment you arrive. Whether you are grabbing a quick bite before one of Asheville’s many art or music events or lingering over a fun-filled evening with friends, our goal is the same. To serve the best of Spanish food and wine and win your heart with our genuine hospitality.

Spain’s dining traditions are steeped in history and culture. So it’s no wonder that Cúrate is located in the heart of Asheville’s historic downtown. The building that houses Cúrate was constructed in 1927 and served as Asheville’s bus depot for decades. After thoughtful renovations by local artists in 2011, the building is once again transporting guests… this time to the flavors of Spain.
