Our third edition of Cúrate, the trip, takes you back to Spain. This new journey, personally guided by Félix Meana – one of the most influential people in the Spanish food scene – uncovers first-hand the real Central Spain through the authentic Spanish food, living some of the most fascinating experiences accessible to a very few. Get priceless insider access, connections, and a tantalizing insight into the culinary essence of the country.
The trip is a unique journey to uncover firsthand the real Spain through authentic Spanish food and wine, living some of the most admired experiences from the North to the South. Cúrate has joined forces with the specialty food and wine tour operator Paladar y Tomar to provide the most authentic experience possible.
Félix will lead a dream program that contains unimaginable visits along with the valuable insight only locals can give, leaving you well versed in many foundations and techniques of Spanish cuisine and the Mediterranean culture.
You will be traveling to Madrid and Toledo, taking in the culture and architecture and participating in a cooking demonstration with a Spanish chef. In Segovia and Salamanca, explore the food and history with a farm visit and tour of the city. You’ll head to Astorga, Las Médulas gold mines, and meet top winemaker Raúl Pérez. Experience the medieval history in Burgos, and immerse yourself in the Ribera del Duero wines.
From farming to wineries, historical sites and museums, cooking demonstrations and the best dining experiences, the trip will give you a chance to experience the Spain that inspired the Cúrate cookbook and tapas bar.
